The standard
GREA Inclusive Verification Standard
GREA's company-run vetting seal: the criteria a professional must meet to carry the GREA verified badge and be listed in Spain's leading LGTBQ+ real estate showcase.
Anyone can say they're “friendly.” The GREA Inclusive Verification Standard is what that should actually mean — GREA's own vetting criteria that a professional must meet, so an LGTBQ+ buyer or renter knows what to expect before the first call. The standard is being defined now, openly, with founding agencies who will be the first to carry it.
The commitment
No justification, ever
A client never has to explain who they are or who they love. Same-sex couples, trans and non-binary clients are served as a matter of course.
Cross-border literacy
Working knowledge of what matters to relocating LGTBQ+ buyers: both names on the deed, recognition of a marriage or partnership, NIE, non-resident mortgages and inheritance.
Discretion by default
A client's identity, situation and search are private and never shared without their say-so.
Inclusive throughout
Respectful language and a welcoming process from the first message to the keys — not a rainbow logo in June and nothing the rest of the year.
Accountable
A real point of contact and a commitment to put things right. GREA oversees how the standard is upheld and founding agencies help define the criteria.
How we vet
The full criteria and how GREA's verification is applied are being finalised with founding agencies. Apply now — free while founding places are open — to help shape the standard and be among the first agencies to carry the GREA verified badge.
